[tblrangecheck].[low] OR & altVALUE & = [tblrangecheck].[low]) AND ( & altVALUE & < [tblrangecheck].[high] OR & altVALUE & = [tblrangecheck].[high]) ; ) i have tried using teh BETWEEN...AND statement, but that doesn't work either! by work, i mean that it NEVER identifies the outer ranges, ie if my value was 10 and my low is 10, it NEVER comes back with a greater than 0 recordset count...argh!!! i need something that will let test for a greater than or equal to condition help! thanks in advance, dave.
