I've read over the FAQ on reloading but am still wondering whether or not to use Lee, Dillon, RCBS or ?? as my reloading platform for CAS 45 LC. I'd appreciate a pointer to an article that lists and details the advantages and dissadvantages of all the major types. First hand feedback gratefully accepted. Many thanks! After 30 years, my RCBS is still cranking 'em out.  If you want speed, go with Dillon.

#I've read over the FAQ on reloading but am still wondering whether or not to use Lee, Dillon, RCBS or ?? as my reloading platform for CAS 45 LC. # #I'd appreciate a pointer to an article that lists and details the #advantages and dissadvantages of all the major types. # #First hand feedback gratefully accepted. # #Many thanks! # #Rick # # Rick,      If you are not going to do much shooting, then a single stage press like the RCBS Rock Chucker will fit the bill.  It is as strong and durable as any out there.  I have had one for almost 18 years now and have loaded many thousands of rounds with it.      However, if you are going to do a lot of shooting, then I would recommend either the Dillon Square Deal (pistol rounds only) or the Dillon 550, which will load pistol and rifle rounds.  I have one of each of them, too for my 223, 45 ACP, 357 Mag, and 44 Mag.      Good Luck Shoots4fun

 I own and use the RCBS Rockchucker and recommend it as one of the better single stage presses out there. Ed Matunas recommends the Bonanza Co Axle as the absolute best bar none. Go to the web sites for details. I don't have the _link_s, but they should be easy to search for.

I use an RCBS rock chucker for 44 mag.  All the rest I reload on a Dillon 550. I once jacked up the white hold down for the powder thrower rod on my 550, Dillon sent me 2 for free including shipping. Dillon has absolutely the best customer service aorund.  Their folks are highly trained.  I cannot say enough good things about them. I also broke the hand primer from RCBS, they replaced it with a brand new one.  I had to send the other part at my own expense.  But this was still incredible customer service. Geen and blue are great counterparts. Either you will do fine. tmc I reload 357 sig, 9mm, 40 sw, 38 spcl, 357 mag. tmc   ...
