I would hope that in response to Microsofts 0.5 BILLION $ marketing budget Sony and Nintendo are fighting back will similar budgets. Don't forget: IBM OS/2 3.X/4.X was a FAR superior operating system to Windows 3.1 (and Windows 95) and guess what? IBM decided it would MOSTLY sell _base_d on its abilities and chose to do VERY little marketing. Microsoft took the FAR less capable Windows 3.1 (and Windows 95) and marketed the crap out of it. Guess which one sold better and is the basis for the majority of home operating systems? Guess why? MARKETING and DEVELOPER SUPPORT.
